Hi, I’m Sharon
I have been a Dental Nurse for 32 years, but recently have been fortunate enough to follow my passion for dogs and trained to become a dog groomer. Helped along by my boys, the Bedlingtons, Eric and Stanley, who are my unwilling volunteers. I have opened up as a home salon with all the latest equipment and have named the business Betty's Bark and Bubbles in memory of my mum, who always encouraged us to follow our dreams and was an avid dog lover, especially poodles.
Our Services
Full Groom/
Deshedding
Includes bath and brush, clip and/or trim as required, hand strip, deshedding and trim, nail clipping and ear clean. Prices from £20
Quick Groom
For certain double coated and Poodle cross breeds, between full grooms to help prevent matting. Bath and dry. Prices from £10
Puppy Groom
This includes shorter appointments introducing your puppy to the grooming salon, with a bath and blow dry, nail trimming and ear cleaning, then on further visits grooming, starting them from 12 weeks and taking it at their pace. Prices start at £10 per visit
Teeth Cleaning
Emmi pet ultrasound teeth cleaning for dogs, no noise, no anaesthetic, improve your dogs Oral Health, freshens breath and kills bacteria, breaks down tartar, helps with your dogs overall health and well being. Prices start at £25 for a 30min session but once your pooch has lovely teeth these sessions can be shorter maintenance sessions and therefore the cost is less.

For our elderly dogs which may find it difficult to cope with a full groom we can break this down into shorter visits, starting from £10 a session, please contact to discuss your pooches needs.

What about a spa treatment?
Blueberry facials are refreshing and relaxing and help to remove dirt, beard and tear stains. Add on £5
Pawdicure deep cleaning paw fizz followed by hydrating butter balm. Add on £8
